CHIPS literally would not run without our wonderful volunteers. Their passion to help children in crisis is evident in their enthusiasm every time they interact with children. Many faithful pensioners and retirees give above and beyond in both time and money each year. Depending on the type of program, volunteers can assist in a whole range of activities including, sailing, horse riding, surfing and scrapbooking. Volunteers can do as little or as much as they like- from just one hour to a whole weekend!

CHIPS screens, trains and equips each volunteer to safely support and encourage the children attending our programs.  We are committed to providing a safe environment for all children and protecting them from any form of harm, including abuse. We value diversity and do not tolerate any discriminatory practices.

All volunteers are required to commit to following our Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.

All volunteers are required to have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
